The Memorial Park of the Victims of Fascism in Sremska Mitrovica, designed by the architect Bogdan Bogdanović, stands at the edge of the city, right next to the old Orthodox cemetery. The complex has an elongated shape with a central pedestrian axis that seems to wind aimlessly but that connects its focal points: the ‘Amphora’ and the group of ‘tumuli’ (mounds).
